Father Christmas in his armchair by a roaring fire, reading a child’s letter

Santa writes back to what they actually wrote.

Snap their letter. Father Christmas answers it on film by his fire, spellings and all. Then again before Christmas, with a keepsake letter.

Dear Santa,

I have bin a good girl.

Plees can I have a

scooter with lites

and a big art set.

From Ruby age 6

Dear Ruby,

A scooter with lites? The elves have been testing them all week.

And a big art set? Mrs Claus has already picked one out.

Father Christmas

Their words. His reply. On film.

Ruby’s letter, answered.

Santa reads her wishes straight off her own page, spellings and all, then signs off with a wave.

A sample. Ruby is a made-up six-year-old; this is the real film our site made from her letter.

One letter. A December of magic.

Only grown-ups use this site. Your child just meets Santa.

From the desk ofFather ChristmasSanta’s Workshop, The North PoleDecember 2026

Dear Ruby,

Thank you for your wonderful letter. It arrived at the North Pole safe and sound, and I read it twice by the fire with a mug of hot cocoa.

I have been checking my big book, and there is a lot about you in it. You started reading chapter books all by yourself this year. That is brilliant, Ruby!

You asked for a scooter with lites and a big art set. The elves have been testing the lights on a very special scooter in the workshop, and Mrs Claus has already picked out an art set with every colour you could want.

There are just two little things I’d like your help with before Christmas Eve. When it’s bedtime, try to go up the very first time you’re asked. Even Santa needs his sleep! And be kind to Alfie. He thinks his big sister is the best in the world.

Please say hello to Ava and Maisie, and to Mrs Hughes and everyone in Year 2.

With lots of love and a big ho ho ho,

Father Christmas

P.S. The elves say your spelling is getting better every day.

Questions.

Does my child use this website?

No. It’s for grown-ups. Santa’s films come to your email, and you choose when to show them.

How long does the first film take?

Usually about 15 minutes after you check the letter. We email you when it’s ready.

What if the handwriting is hard to read?

We show you what we read before Santa films anything, and you can correct it.

Will Santa promise presents?

Only the ones you tell him he can. For the others he says he’ll see what the elves can do, or doesn’t mention them.

What does it cost?

£12.99 per child for both films and the printable letter, plus £3.99 if you’d like the letter posted. It’s free while we’re in beta.

When is the last day to order?

For a posted letter, 14 December. For the films, a few days before the date you’d like his second one.

What happens to our information?

We only use it to make Santa’s replies, and delete it 30 days after your second film. Privacy notice.
